Gundjhangir Students protest over non availability of transport, block Sumbal-Sopore road

Aadil Nazir Hajin: Oct 12:- The students of Government Boys' Higher Secondary School Naidkhai here in Gundjahangir village of Hajin in Bandipora district are suffering due to non -availablity of transport in their locality. A group of aggrieved students on Thursday morning blocked the Hajin-Naidkhai Sopore road for quite some time and halted traffic movement to attract the attention of authorities. While speaking to media the students Alleged that they are not able to attend on a daily basis due to lack of transport facility they reach late their educational institution every day. Naveed Rashi, a 12 class student alleged that due to non availability of transport facility, they get late to their school every day, which also effects their education career. Meanwhile, the residents of Gund jahangir, particularly student community have demanded bus service from Sopore to Sumbal via Gundjahangir which can ease their sufferings. They aslo appealed DC Bandipora Dr Owais Ahmed and higher authorities to look into the matter on priority basis and resolve their grevience as soon as possible so that we will not suffer more.
