Transport Union Mendhar Protest Against BRO (GREF) Mendhar for not completed BG Mendhar Black top work in midway. MENDHAR: Sumo Union Mendhar today staged a protest demonstration against BRO Mendhar for “extremely poor condition” of the Mendhar BG road. The protesting people raised slogans against the BRO authorities for allegedly not maintaining the road. The protester led by Its Union President Kafeel Khan warned BRO Mendhar Aouthority for not completed and delays work of Blacktop stopped in midway near Dhargloon Highersecondary school according to the reports they alledged if Blacktop work not completed we will protest again infront of BRO Main offic Mendhar and whole responsibility is on BRO Mendhar Administration. They demands Dyputy commissioner Poonch Yasin Choudhary and SDM Mendhar to look matter seriously and restart BT work of BG Mendhar Road which dtayts early and stopped in midway near Dhargloon area. and said people have been subjected to “annoyance” due to the “pathetic” road conditions. The protesters alleged that despite repeated pleas to the concerned authorities, the road was not being repaired. They also appealed Deputy Commissioner Poonch to take up this matter with the concerned authorities and ensure repairs of the road as well as its widening.
