Rafique Rather said that the decision seems to ba taken in haste and unilaterally which does not fullfill the parameters of justice and fairness and added that if a victim is not allowed to go the court of justice to defend himself then what is the option left with him he asked. He said that charges against the official are of serious nature and requires indepth enquiry and at the same time need to be made public so that choas and confusion created in the minds of employees are removed and parameters of justice are fullfilled and added that victim should be allowed to put his point in his defence so that justice is delivered. President EJAC urged upon UT administration to reconsider the decision so that the familes being affected by the decision dont suffer for bread and butter and are not punished for no sin of theirs. Appealing to the Hon’ble Lieutenant Governor Shri Manoj Sinha to look in to the serious issue EJAC expressed hope that justice is delivered in its fairness so that employees fraternity feel a sigh of relief.
